A novella involving the unlikeliest set of characters, each of whom undergoes a series of implausible challenges, at the apex of which, a being appears: maybe an angel, maybe a barefoot doctor, who makes what should be a sensible intervention, but which invariably sends the subject off into an even greater spin. the story thus develops at a faster and faster rate of revolution until it's all but ridiculous resolution and all this to deliver a subtext message of healing in the midst of the insanity of the world, hence the strap-line, 'this'll either heal you or make you go insane,' the point of which is naturally to lead the reader to choose the former.
When doing the book tour, it was almost impossible to deliver a reading without constantly breaking into uncontrollable laughter, so thick are the gags.
This is real tonic but not for the feint-hearted.
