Connect the energies of heaven and earth

The ancient Taoists, along with the technique entailing using the mind to draw the kinetic power of the earth up through the bubbling springs in the centre of the ball of each foot, up the insides of the legs, into the perineum and up into the lower abdomen on inhalation, then letting it settle and gather into a refined ball of chi behind the navel, as described in another post, they also used to draw down the energy of ‘heaven’, the cosmos, through the crown of the head, down into the brain and then further down into the belly to mingle and merge with the earth energy there.

The reaction of these two would then produce a more refined and powerful energy, the result of which would be a spontaneous, clear knowing of life-mission: to connect the energies of heaven and earth and use the resulting existential glee to light up the world, as well as the internal power to make it succeed in real time.
