Gird your loins

The possibility of water on Mars may not blow your hair back as a concept, but it means that before too long, it's not without the realms of possibility that you'll be able to go and live there - or if not there, at least on the Moon. And while it may not have immediate appeal, consider the pristine conditions, the space, and the lack of pollution. Think of the opportunities.

But then think of all the things you'd miss. The people, the views, even the madness. It makes you appreciate life on this planet, thinking about moving to Mars. It pushes you into a micro-moment of appreciative stillness. In that micro-moment, imagine a breathing aperture in the centre of your chest. Imagine yourself breathing in and out purposefully through it. As you breathe in, imagine you are sucking in the generic quality of universal love into the heart of your very being. As you breathe out, imagine you're emanating that love, multiplied by 108

Now - not that I'd presume to tell you what to do, but anyway - gird your loans, go out into the garden and be a kind and loving brother or sister to your brothers and sisters who play there with you, so that peace, prosperity, health, wisdom and love among all the peoples of the Earth may prevail!
